Wow. Mind blown, not only for the fact I was expecting something heavier after I bought on the first or second track, and then it being completely different in a good way but because it's a talented mix! I didn't get to read the official album reviews at time of listening so had no idea. But those soft bluesy songs just melted me at the end of an already hot day when I was also melting inside.Plus the other 70s style rock tracks are my cup of Charlie, then the easy psychedelic.. Hats off🤘😈🤘 Solitude & Sin
...wandering into a wooded night, the sky flashes unearthly bright, silhouette of an enormous, antlered figure. Your ears may not translate Outlands' building, tribal sounds that coalesce from chants, guitar building from meditative to Earth-shattering riffs, eternal grooves, and a general sense of mysticism, into my own ocular imaginings. You may not see the sky crack open when Szymon Ewertowski and Adrian Gadomski sing that last, guttural "Higher!" Music is subjective. Outlands is incredible. Nicholasw
As we prepare ourselves spiritually, physically, and mentally for Sunnata’s upcoming Chasing Shadows, it is as good a time as any to reflect upon the band’s incredible discography, which stands as one of the finest in all of sludge/ stoner, and even (modern) doom for that matter. Zorya is probably Sunnata’s heaviest album and though it is a smidgen less dynamic than Outlands, it is the best entry point for new listeners who want to know what’s what. Perfect soundtrack for steamrolling your foes. Ippocalyptica
